Axilor Ventures: Helping Early Stage Startups

Axilor Ventures is a leading micro Venture Capital Fund and Startup accelerator providing seed funding to startups in various segments. The firm invests in 8-12 startups every year with $500k-$750k allocated for each startup. Axilor has assisted more than 150 startups since its inception and has one of the largest Series A portfolios besides a near-50% Seed to Series A conversion rate.

Startups in the Axilor Ventures portfolio have a good chance of getting follow-on funding and access to a wide network of domestic and global VCs. Venture funds that invested in startups in the Axior portfolio include pi Ventures, Blume, Tiger Global, Sequoia, Endiya, Omidyar Network, Saif Partners, Mayfield, India Quotient, and Accel.

Investment Vehicles– The company has two seed funds- the first fund of Rs 200 crore (launched in 2018) deployed across 54 startups and a second fund of $100 million or Rs 770 crore (launched in July 2022). Founded in 2014, this investment venture is the second most active seed fund in India and one of the top 10 Series A pipeline creators in India.

Prominent Investments– The fund has invested in companies such as LeRemitt, KBCols Sciences, Dappelio, Solar Ladder, Wiz Freight, Vyapar, Detect, Urban Piper, Capgrid, Metalbook, Medfin, Reshamandi, SquadStack, and Enkash.
Portfolio Exits– The fund has successfully exited from Loco, SecureTime, Scapic and InfiSecure.
