Pradip Jadhav,Founder Gigantiques Decor on Eco-Friendly Innovations in Furniture & Interior

In a world increasingly burdened by waste, Pradip Jadhav, the visionary Founder of Gigantiques Decor is on a mission to redefine sustainable living.

FounderLabs sat down with Pradip to discuss his journey from a small-town dreamer to a pioneering entrepreneur whose upcycled furniture is making waves in the design world.

In this candid conversation, Pradip opens up about the challenges, triumphs, and inspirations that have shaped Gigantiques into a beacon of eco-friendly innovation.

FounderLabs: Pradip, thank you for joining us today. Let’s start with your journey. How did the idea of Gigantiques come to life?

Pradip Jadhav: The world today produces more waste than ever before, largely due to changing consumption patterns and lifestyles. I saw this as both a challenge and an opportunity. Gigantiques Decor was born out of a desire to address these environmental concerns.

We focused on creating sustainable, eco-friendly furniture by upcycling discarded materials. Growing up in Dhule, Maharashtra, I always wanted to do something creative and unique. My engineering background gave me the tools, but my passion for innovation and sustainability drove me to start Gigantiques.

FounderLabs: That’s truly inspiring. What was the driving force behind your decision to leave your job and start this venture?

Pradip Jadhav: While working in a company with three shifts, I watched the owner build a vast empire, and it struck me that I wanted to create something significant for my family, my village, and my nation. The idea of creating something out of nothing, especially from waste, was immensely satisfying. After quitting my job, I started Gigantiques in a small shed, and today, we’re proud to be part of so many beautiful living spaces.

FounderLabs: What can you tell us about Gigantiques’ core products and offerings?

Pradip Jadhav: We specialize in converting waste into beautiful, functional pieces of furniture. Our products are primarily sold to cafes, farmhouses, resorts, agro-tourism ventures, amusement parks, offices, small shops, and residences. Our customers appreciate the uniqueness of our designs, which enhance their spaces and attract visitors. Plus, by reducing waste and lowering the carbon footprint, we’re contributing to a healthier planet.

FounderLabs: It’s impressive how you combine creativity with sustainability. How did you first break into the market?

Pradip Jadhav: Our breakthrough came when we provided products to a cafe that gained popularity for its unique tyre furniture and drum seating. College students loved the concept, which boosted the cafe’s success and validated our work.

Later, when I promoted Gigantiques on Facebook, we received our first big order from a group of engineers who owned a café—they wanted the exact furniture they saw in our video.

FounderLabs: That’s a great story! What challenges have you faced along the way?

Pradip Jadhav: The biggest challenges have been collecting waste materials and training manpower. This is a niche product, so standardizing processes and teaching laborers to transform waste into beautiful products has been crucial. Talent acquisition remains an ongoing challenge since not many people are accustomed to working with recycled products.

FounderLabs: Every entrepreneur has their ‘A-ha’ moments. What was yours?

Pradeep Jadhav: The biggest ‘A-ha’ moment was when one of our videos went viral on social media. Mr. Anand Mahindra tweeted about it, appreciating our efforts. That recognition was a huge validation of our work.

FounderLabs: What keeps you motivated in this journey?

Pradip Jadhav: Everyday challenges keep me motivated. The focus required to create something new and different is what drives me. Moreover, the appreciation and love we receive from people, especially on social media, are incredibly encouraging.

FounderLabs: Do you have any advice for new business owners?

Pradip Jadhav: Think creatively and keep your efforts consistent until you see results. Learn as much as you can before starting a business—acquire at least three to four soft skills necessary for running a business. Keep learning, and apply that knowledge to your business.

FounderLabs: Who has been a mentor to you throughout this journey?

Pradeep Jadhav: Our customers and suppliers have been our mentors. Their feedback, ideas, and suggestions have played a key role in shaping our business. They’re a big part of our success.

FounderLabs: What do you see as the market opportunities for Gigantiques?

Pradip Jadhav: Society is becoming more mature in adopting eco-friendly products, and the younger generation is increasingly aware of the importance of reducing waste. As the market grows, so does the opportunity to showcase creativity and provide unique products, particularly in the hospitality sector.

We’re committed to setting benchmarks for better practices and creating employment.

FounderLabs: What are your future growth plans?

Pradip Jadhav: We plan to expand Gigantiques Decor into a giant in scrap conversion and eco-friendly innovation. Our mission is to transform lives with sustainable, eco-friendly products. Our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to lead the antique furniture industry with the largest product range and path-breaking solutions, aiming to achieve a $1 billion turnover by 2040.
