IGNOU Inviting Applications from Startup Alumni & Aspiring Students Competition 2024

  • IGNOU Invites applications for ‘StartUp Competition 2024’ and will provide necessary training and support to the shortlisted students. Opportunities to hold discussions with the entrepreneurs in India will also be made available.
  • The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is actively engaged in fostering its students and alumni towards Atmanirbhar Bharat through promoting, supporting and nurturing the Innovator students and its alumni. 

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is inviting applications from students and alumni from IGNOU who have set up a startup or business venture.

Invitations are also for those who are at the advanced stage of setting up a startup or business.

The IGNOU’s Start-ups Competition 2024 will be held in two rounds. In the first round details about the start-ups and business venture or to be a start-up or business venture are to be submitted through the Google form.

Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website of the institute for detailed information.

The submitted entries will be screened and shortlisted for the second round by an expert committee at below mentioned link:

The entries for the First Round of the Startup Competition-2024 can be submitted through the forms.gle/ZUoWs6AhRyVEfmr29 latest by July 31.

Three people will be selected as winners. The prize is Rs 10000 for first place, Rs 7000 for second place and Rs 5000 for the third place.

In the second round, the shortlisted students or alumni will be required to pitch their startup or business as per the template to be provided after the completion of the first round.

Finally, the Best Startup Award 2024 will be given to the selected startups/business ventures/to-be startups.
