StartUp ‘Mahakumbh’ a Pedestal for Indian StartUp’s to Showcase,Shine & Collaborate

The theme for the event is “Bharat Innovates”.

The event for Start Up business “Bharat Mahakumbh” event brings in a new phase of India’s journey to New India where the youths are brimming with ideas and waiting to give it a shape in form of Start Up business. The Start Up ecosystem brings in more opportunity to ear, thrive and more employment and Mahakumbh is that Pedestal for such shinning ideas.

The Startup Mahakumbh, Delhi 2024 has started at the BharatMandapam and expected to witness a gathering of 100 StartUp  entrepreneurs, 50 Unicorns,500 incubators and collaborators along with 5000 delegates from 23 countries. The event will be from 18th march to 20 March 2024.

The event is being jointly organised with collaborative efforts of Assocham, Nasscom, Bootstrap Incubation and Advisory Foundation, TiE and Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA).The event is also supported by the DPIIT, MeitY Startup Hub (MSH) and Invest India.

The event will feature mentorship camp, pitch for Startup and competition on who wins the pitching, leadership talks focusing around aspects of Start ups ecosystem, panel discussion and various workshops.

Senior Govt officials said PM Narendra Modi to visit the Mahakumbh and address the Startup ecosystem.

“This event is over 100 times larger in scale than anything you have seen before. Policy dialogue will be a small part of the event. It is more about celebration, showcasing success etc,” the DPIIT secretary said.

“We like to facilitate business and industry, sometimes from the front but often from the back. The idea is to facilitate, promote and this event showcases the fact that our start-up ecosystem has become one of the largest in the world,” said Rajesh Kr. Singh, DPIIT secretary.

The start up Mahakumbh will witness 23 states that are participating in the event as per DPIIT. The aim is to to highlight Indian manufacturing start-ups as per DPIIT.

From Investors perspective, the event will be a stepping stone for monetary and reputational gains as this is a win win situation for both start up owners and entrepreneurs.
