Infosys announced an extended partnership with NVIDIA to develop small language models. As the enterprise clients’ digital solutions transform yet further, this is another strategic leap in the field of AI. Here, two AI-driven models – Infosys Topaz Banking SLM and Infosys Topaz ITOpsSLM- will make it possible for businesses to develop custom, secure, and compliant AI models in-house.
Infosys and NVIDIA collaborate in the development of industry-specific AI solutions. It caters to the client’s specific needs while ensuring that there are standards for safeguarding data security. The SLMs are part of the Infosys Topaz suite, which rely on general and industry-specific data sources fine-tuned with the help of NVIDIA AI Enterprise and NVIDIA AI Foundry, in collaboration with Sarvam AI. Altogether, these tools offer the most tailored solutions for model building with AI and can support various sectors, including banking and IT operations, in exploiting real-time data analytics and automation.
Infosys Topaz BankingSLM does attempt to transform the financial services sector through AI, thereby making risk management customer personalization and compliance monitoring more streamlined. Meanwhile, Infosys Topaz ITOpsSLM enables IT organizations with increased capabilities for the management of IT operations further ensuring optimized workflow and minimizing operational downtime. Therefore, this SLM architecture is central to Infosys in strengthening the AI portfolio besides making it easy to deliver efficient, scalable AI solutions to clients.
The day before this, Infosys also fortified its partnership with Meta through a Meta Centre of Excellence (COE). The center will develop innovative AI work toward creating enterprise digital transformation and further advance Infoyses endeavors in AI. The Meta COE is designed to address a wide range of AI-driven enterprise challenges by breaking new benchmarks for research and development in AI.
Infosys seems to be positioning itself as an innovation leader with AI and digital transformation through the alliance with NVIDIA and Meta.
